The Huntington Library's Specialty Tours begin before public hours or in the afternoon, last approximately 90 minutes and include general admission.
Estate Tour—Learn how Henry and Arabella Huntington turned their San Marino ranch into a world famous cultural landmark! This easy walking tour will familiarize you with the cultural treasures of The Huntington: the magnificent gardens, art galleries, and library exhibitions.
Chinese Garden Tour—Architecture, nature, art and literature meet in Liu Fang Yuan, the Garden of Flowing Fragrance. This walking tour will take you through the traditional Suzhou-style garden, featuring a 1.5-acre lake, pavilions, a canyon waterfall and hand-carved stone bridges set against a wooded backdrop of mature oaks, pines, camellias and blossoming plum trees.
Japanese Garden Tour—Tour this 100-year-old landmark! Discover the history and beauty of The Huntington's Japanese Garden on this walking tour of one of the oldest and most elaborate gardens of its kind in America.
Tea & Tour—Enjoy a morning tour through the stunning Huntington gardens, followed by English tea in the Rose Garden Tea Room. The tour concludes at the Rose Garden Tea Room, where a finger sandwiches, fresh fruit, imported cheeses, salads, and desserts await.
