QUEEN EMMA PALACE—Honolulu, Oahu
Built in 1848, Queen Emma Summer Palace is one of the only remaining examples of Greek Revival architecture in Hawai‘i. The home served as summer retreat for Queen Emma, her husband King Kamehameha IV, and their son, Prince Albert Edward. Today the home is a historic site, museum, & center for cultural education programs, preserved by non-profit organization, Daughters of Hawai‘i which also maintains Hulihe‘e Palace—historic site & museum—located on Hawai‘i Island.
