Hale Hōʻikeʻike at the Bailey House—Wailuku, Maui
Built in 1833, the old Bailey House was part of the Wailuku Female Seminary for Hawaiian girls until 1848. Today Hale Hōʻikeʻike is a museum of Maui history showcasing Hawaiian antiquities, Monarchy history, Missionary Era artifacts, and ongoing special exhibits. The grounds feature a native Hawaiian botanical garden. Visit the Museum Store for books about all things Hawaiian and unique gifts made in Hawaii.
