The Rockwell Museum is the only Smithsonian Affiliate in Upstate New York, and one of only 200+ nationwide. Housed in the beautifully restored 19th- century Historic Old City Hall in Corning, New York, The Rockwell lays at the heart of the greater Finger Lakes fine arts community.
The Rockwell Museum tells the story of the American experience through fine art. The diverse collection includes a mix of nineteenth-century American paintings, historic bronzes, and Indian artifacts as well as twentieth-century modernists, illustration art, and contemporary photography. Featured galleries represent the works of the Taos Society of Artists, and masterworks of Remington and Russell. The Family Exploration Studio and gallery activities make this destination perfect for all ages. Kids/teens 17 & under free.
