The Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center River Campus features a full-functioning Raptor Rehabilitation Center that's home to resident hawks, owls, falcons, turkey vultures, and eagles. After your visit to the Raptor Center, make your way down the hill to enjoy a stroll on one of our paved biking trails beneath the cottonwood trees or fish on our deck overlooking the Arkansas River. Our Raptor Center takes in over 300 injured and orphaned birds of prey throughout the year and educates over 13,000 visitors in raptor conservation and environmental education. The Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center River Campus averages 82,000 visitors a year from all over the world. Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center's mission is to promote environmental stewardship and population health through nature education, wildlife rehabilitation, and outdoor recreation.
