JESSE JAMES BANK MUSEUM—Liberty
Site of the first daylight, peacetime bank robbery in American history, committed by Jesse James and the James gang in 1866. Guided tour of original bank room and vault, gallery of artifacts and photos. Admission fee. Open March through December: Mon - Sat 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, closed Sundays. North of KC on I-35 to the Hwy 152 Liberty exit. Hwy 152 east through to the Historic Downtown Liberty square. The museum is on the northeast corner of the square.
