BUFFALO GAP HISTORIC VILLAGE
Buffalo Gap
The Taylor County History Center/Buffalo Gap Historic Village is an outdoor museum consisting of over 15 historic buildings that chronicle the last 50 years of the West Texas Frontier (1875-1925). We use these buildings and their artifacts to tell the story of the frontier settlers who transformed the Wild West into thriving communities. Our historic playground is a hit with schoolchildren and everyone will love the gift shop filled with old fashioned snacks, candy, and soda bar!
