Walt Whitman Birthplace Association is Walt Whitman’s voice today, celebrating the poet’s vision of democracy, diversity, and creativity. Our programs and exhibits educate the public on Whitman’s life and times, explore his contribution to our nation’s rich cultural heritage, and inspire young poets and writers. Winter hours begin Post-Labor Day through June 14 and are Wed–Fri 1–4 pm, Sat–Sun 11–4 pm.
Summer hours begin June 15 through Labor Day and are Mon–Fri 11–4 pm and Sat–Sun 11–4 pm.
