IROQUOIS MUSEUM
Howes Cave
In a building inspired by the image of an Iroquois longhouse, the Iroquois Museum in Howes Cave, New York is the ideal introduction to the Iroquois people today and in the past. The Museum’s exhibits, festivals, interactive Children’s Museum, and 45-acre Nature Park celebrate the cultural diversity, rich history, archaeology, and artistic expression of the Iroquois: Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, Seneca, and Tuscarora. Extending the Museum’s educational opportunities is the Museum’s on-line “Learning Longhouse.”
