The Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum is situated in the area’s First Frontier region. The Library and Museum houses one of the finest Lincoln and Civil War collections in the world. Over 30,000 items rotate in displays telling the life story of our revered 16th President, his personal rendezvous with history, and the devastation of war. Lincoln helped shape our nation during this country’s Civil War. This story of tragedy and triumph is included in exhibit areas and Museum programming.
