MUSEUM OF COASTAL CAROLINA—Ocean Isle Beach

The Museum of Coastal Carolina is a natural history museum located on Ocean Isle Beach, NC, one block from the ocean. Exhibits include aquariums with live animals, dioramas, a Touch Tank, shells, fossils, and a walk-through ocean reef with life-size models of whales, sharks, sea turtles, and rays. In season, the museum offers afternoon and evening programs as well as special evening lectures.
